Mosier Gulch Recreation Area National Park

Park Description

This area lies in the foothills of the Bighorn Mountains and is a fine place for flyfishing in Clear Creek or hunting big game out of the mountains or from the Bud Love area. With almost 900 acres of ponderosa pine-forested lands abetween 5,500 feet to 6,800 feet, this area is a popular hiking area. A developed roadside picnic area complete with picnic tables, pedestal fir grates, and a vault toilet is available. This area is home to mule deer, antelope, eagles, and occassional black bear and elk.There is a walking path back to Buffalo.
